Okay, so this post is a little bit different to what I normally do but it was really fun!
Basically, the lovely people at T.M. Lewin messaged me & asked me how I would create a 'Presentation to Pub' look, so in other words a Day to Night outfit! If you don't know a lot about T.M. Lewin they're a Formal Wear brand who do amazing Suits for Men, as well as all of the accessories to go with it such as Ties, Cufflinks, Shoes etc... & they also do a section for Women! So what i've done is i've made a mood board for the Office look & interpreted those ideas into a blog shoot for you guys to see how i've put it all together... I wanted an all black outfit, I don't think you can go wrong with black whether it's in the day or in the night!
I found some great pieces, but I thought I would be different & go for a two piece as I thought I could really dress it up & down...
Accessories, I smartened it up with a scarf but tied it round the neck for a Office Chic look.
For the lips I just used a nude colour because I didn't want it to be too OTT!
So if you keep scrolling down, you'll find this look & you'll see how I changed it up for my evening look...
Evening Chic //
Now this is my mood board for my 'Pub' Evening out look, so i've stayed with the two piece, but mainly just changing the accessories & my make up...
When you don't have time to go home & change you just want a quick, easy turn around! So I thought this was perfect!
I changed the Shoes into something that will stand out more, I decided to go for a Snakeskin print which I think looks really good with an all black outfit! Accessories, I took off the scarf & changed it for a choker which are so on trend right now, then I just added some extra jewellery to make it more of a dressy look... For my Handbag I thought I would go with something classy but also a statement piece & because it's got the gold chain it looks amazing against black! & for the lips I went straight for a red! Who doesn't love a red lip?
Now that's how I would change my look from 'Presentation to Pub' so why not do a Mens mood board too...
Office for Men //
I went straight for Blue, I love Blue shirts! I just think they look so fresh & clean!
I chose 3 shirt choices, ones that you can wear at work & also for more of a casual look...
Shoes, you can't go wrong with a typical Brogue or a Monkstrap so I love either of these to smarten up the look!
I think it's very important for Men to have all the smart Accessories... So i've added some really lovely Ties & Cufflinks, which again if you don't have time to go home to change it takes two minutes to take them off & will change the outfit instantly...
Evening for Men //
I loved doing this Evening look, so I've not changed the Shirt options, i've kept them because there won't be any need to change them! I've gone for a Smart casual Jean which will look really good with any of those Shirts tucked in...
Shoes, I went for more of a Chelsea boot which will dress the outfit down slightly rather than having a smart work shoe!
For Accessories i've gone with a casual belt to make it more of a relaxed look & then I thought I would add a stand out piece which would be a Watch, I think Watches are always a good accessory for Men, it really finishes off the look...
So that's it, like I said a different post for me! But i've enjoyed it & I hope you guys have enjoyed reading it too!
